#ProtestSignsFromNorthPoleElves via Hashtag, You’re It!: @BrandNewMcMann The Top Picks

As of 2019 there were estimated to be about 526,000,000 Christian children on planet Earth. If Santa had to deliver just 1 present to each of them (and let’s face it that really low balling it since most kids get about 5 or 6 from him) that’s a HUGE amount of toys that Santa has to make. We all know that Santa’s manufacturing super center is located at the North Pole. Production of over 526,000,000 toys must take a gigantic work force. That means elves. Santa’s elves have to deal with material, production, manufacturing, wrapping, distribution, HR, waste management, OSHA compliance, payroll, livestock, data entry, all while wearing pointy red shoes. Oh sure, Santa get’s all the attention, but it’s the elves that literally do all the work. To quote Rodney Dangerfield, they get “No Respect”. And for having to do all this grinding work for over 3 centuries they really have nothing to show for it. Plus the numbers keep growing. The population of the Earth just keeps going up, up, up. So they have to keep pumping out more and more product. All of this has to take a toll on those poor elves. The breaking point might be near. But what happens when it does? When those elves go on strike and shut down Santa’s operation what will be the sticking point that drove these elves into the cold to picket the workshop? That’s what I asked Twitter this week with the hashtag #ProtestSignsFromNorthPoleElves.
